Deadites are one of the monsters seen on the whiteboard. It was bet on by the Story Department. A possible Deadite is seen grabbing a worker and throwing him over the railing to the Giant Snake during the Purge.

Physical Description & Attritbutes

In their source, Evil Dead, people who have become possessed by a demonic or evil spirit, transforming them into an undead monstrosity. The anatomy of a possessed person alters slightly after becoming possessed, with teeth growing sharper and eyes turning pale and skin decaying slightly. The longer someone remains possessed by a demonic spirit, the more hideous the people turn in appearance. It is never revealed as to whether Deadites function this way in this movie as well.

The Necronomicon Ex Mortis summons them if you read the incantation out loud.

Inspiration

They are a direct reference to the Deadites of the Evil Dead series.
