Depicted as humanoid figures wearing dolls' masks and black clothing, they resemble a family with an older woman in a corporate suit, an older man in a business suit, and two young looking individuals: A blonde pigtailed girl in a black dress and a hooded boy. They are depicted as a group of cruel and sadistic killers, keen to torture by fire. They do not appear to be supernatural in appearance and nature, but rather appear to be normal human killers, murdering people for no apparent reason.

The Dolls

The Dolls are a group of monsters imprisoned in the Facility. They're seen on the whiteboard having been bet on by the Kitchen Staff .

Physical Description + Abilities

The "Dolls" are a family of seemingly normal humans wearing all-black attire, and wearing white, stoic masks with black lips and thin eyebrows. The group consists of a "Mother" and "Father" in plain black business suits, a "Sister" with pigtails, black gloves, and a short black dress, and a "Brother" in a black zip-up hoodie and black jeans.

They have no apparent supernatural abilities, though their calm, methodical movements and total lack of emotion gives them a cold and sociopathic demeanor. This combined with their ability to effortlessly capture and kill several people at once without suffering injury or interruption hints that they are, indeed, not human.

Their summoning object is a white mask found in the basement amongst the other clutter, similar to the ones they wear.

Appearances

The Dolls are first seen in their cube, barely glimpsed during the cube scene. Later, the "Mother" and "Brother" are seen on a mini monitor while Sitterson was looking for Marty and Dana. During the System Purge, The Dolls are seen in the second wave of monsters exiting the elevator during the Purge. They can also be seen in a camera view angle binding and gagging Facility workers together with tape before dousing them in gasoline and setting them on fire, quietly watching them burn to death.

Inspiration

The Dolls are based largely on mask-wearing slasher film villains who show little emotion and relentlessly hunt down and kill their victims, such as Michael Myers from the Halloween franchise. Although the Dolls in particular are most similar to the antagonists of the 2008 horror flick, The Strangers.
