Mother Buckner

Mother Buckner ( Maya Massar ) is the mother of Patience Buckner and is one of the members of the film's initial Monsters, The Buckner Family.

She, her son, and her husband take part in the vicious killing of Jules Louden.

After Jules is killed and Curt is persuaded to split the group into their rooms, she attacks Dana Polk but Holden saves her. After Dana was saved by Holden, Mother Buckner leaves from the cabin and is never seen again.

Her weapon is a broken saw, which she used to cut off her victim's head.

Trivia

• If one looks carefully at her, you can see she still has the hot coals that Father Buckner stuck into her stomach during her torture when she was living (as revealed through DVD Special Features.)
