Cthulhu Creature is a Monster kept inside the Facility. It was not listed on the whiteboard, nor was it seen during the System Purge.
Physical Description & Attributes[]
As the name implies, the Cthulhu Creature bears a resemblance to the ancient, fictional entity the Cthulhu, an alien god temporarily imprisoned under the sea. It appears as a humanoid figure with several long tentacles that extend down mid-torso, from directly above its mouth and below its nose. Its hands also seem much larger than an average humans, and appear to be either mutated of some sort, or the creature is wearing gloves. Its skin is a pale grey-green color and it wears ragged grey clothing and large boots.
Assuming that it is directly based off of the original Cthulhu, it is possible this creature possesses some supernatural abilities or dark magic. On the contrary, the original Cthulhu was described to be the size of a mountain, so the appearance of this Monster could be a possible descendant or even a worshiper of the Cthulhu, but this is just speculation.
It is not known what item summons the Cthulhu Creature, but it can be assumed that something related to the story The Call of Cthulhu, perhaps reading the story itself, could work.

The only times the Cthulhu Creature is seen on film is in the elevator scene, where it is seen standing idly. Better, more close up footage of the Monster is in the behind the scenes footage.
Inspiration[]
Given the name of the creature, it's a direct reference to the story "The Call of Cthulhu" by H. P. Lovecraft, and more likely a reference to The Shadow over Innsmouth . It is also possible that this creature could also have been based off of Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean, due to the crab claws and tentacles around the mouth. There is also a notable resemblance between this monster and an Ood, a creature from the Doctor Who universe.
